Color of the Cross

A movie I wrote, you may remember me talking about it a few months back, "Color of the Cross" that depicted Jesus as a black Jew, will be coming to theaters in September or October. There is now a trailer for it that you can view by clicking the link on the right. I haven't seen the entire film yet, it's still in post-production, but the trailer looks terrific! I think it is something I will be very proud of. It is sure to be extremely controversial.

Say a prayer, we're down to crunch time with "Special Unit". Comedy Central is making their final decision in the next day or two. If it gets on the air, it will advance the disability movement significantly, and, bottom line, it's going to make a lot of people laugh. If I wasn't unable to laugh, I probably wouldn't still be alive. I really really hope and pray that my next blog will contain of lots of juicy info the show!

yep, I'm using your blog as news for Special Unit... can't wait to hear if it makes it... I really really want to see this show. And the weird thing is, I usually hate comedy. I avoid comedy central like the plague, but I'd watch this.

    Hi Jim,
I'm not sure how I feel about that movie, "The Color Of The Cross".
But I will be hoping that "Special Unit" is picked up! I'd really like to see that. Good Luck!

Dude, it's been a WEEK since you said something about SU... You can't say on Monday "We'll have news in a couple days" and then leave us hanging! Even a note saying "It'll be a few more days" would be something... this silence is giving me an ulcer. I can't use the Comedy Central website, they don't have a news page - they have an RSS feed that I'm not subscribed to.

This is the first I've heard of Color of the Cross but it certainly sounds unique and intriquing. Will you please post on the blog, when you know for sure when it will be airing?

    Also, who stars in it?

    Congratulations.
